A set of modern and powerful spectral processing modules opening to SynthEdit users the doors to STFT (Short Term Fourier Transform) and making of it an even more valuable platform. From pitch shifting to envelope extraction, from sound synthesis to convolution, from vocoding to voice manipulation... just check the included example projects to have a broad idea of the almost unlimited possibilities offered by this realtime modular spectral processing framework, suitable for both spectral plugins development as well as for R&D. Everything written in highly optimized C++ code. Underlying technology entirely developed by the author based on no one else's work.
The included SDK allows the advanced user and coder to complement the spectral toolkit supplied with third party custom spectral processing modules and to experiment with new spectral processing algorithms.
This is not a toy for children but for advanced SynthEdit users with DSP and spectral processing skills. Reading the included manual and studying the copious example projects included is mandatory.
Elena Spectral Domain for Synthedit is Free (Donationware) for personal usage, Free (Donationware+"Creditware") for public non-commercial usage but a fee is required a for commercial usage. Please read the included license.
This is still an Alpha version. This means that there can still be many bugs present and some features still missing. Please contact the Author privately to report any bugs, problems of questions.
Please check Elena Design Synthedit Repository to download the latest version of Elena Spectral Modules.
No Mac version is planned at present but things may change once a stable point is reached, depending on the feedback.
WARNING - ALPHA STATUS.
ESD is still an evolving project. V3 is currently in the works. The list of things changed, improved and fixed since the latest public V2.x release is already huge, and most things could not really be planned: this is the reason for the unusual but necessary abrupt jump from V2.0 alpha2 to V3 (alpha).
The core phylosophy of ESD won't change, but your existing projects made with V2.x will be NO LONGER COMPATIBLE. Very sorry for that.
However, V2.x and V3.x will be named differently, and both versions will be allowed to live together, to warrant a less painful migration of your existing projects, if any.
