Spectral Framework for SynthEdit by Elena Design V3.
A set of modern and powerful spectral processing modules opening to SynthEdit users the doors to realtime STFT (Short Term Fourier Transform) and making of it an even more valuable platform. From pitch shifting to envelope extraction, from sound synthesis to convolution, from vocoding to voice manipulation... just check the included example projects to have a broad idea of the almost unlimited possibilities offered by this modular spectral processing framework, suitable for both spectral plugins development, realtime sound processing and synthesis as well as for R&D. Everything written in highly optimized C++ code. Underlying technology entirely developed by the author since 2019 based on no published work.
ESD V3 represents a major step forward with respect to V2. V2 projects are NO LONGER COMPATIBLE WITH V3, yet the core phylosophy of ESD didn't change and will never change. Please consult the included CHANGELOG.
A comprehensive PDF manual complete with many illustrations and a section about advanced topics is now also included.
The SDK is no longer included, but can be requested upon agreement.
The advanced C++ coder, SynthEdit user and plugin creator can create custom spectral processing modules thanks to the optional SDK (GCC and CodeBlocks required), as well as condense whole spectral processing circuits inside one or few custom modules, for a boost in CPU and memory performance.
ESD is not a toy for children but for advanced SynthEdit users with the required DSP and mathematics skills. Reading the included manual and studying the copious example projects included is mandatory.
With V3, ESD license and EULA changed. ESD3 is a *commercial* product. A Demo version is distributed which has no limitations but plugin export is *disabled*. The registered version can be bought from Elena Design for eur 150 and can be used without royalties or limitations.
Registered users can request a Mac version for no additional cost.
