Felix is inspired by the Octave Kitten hardware synth from the early eighties. The really powerful area of the Kitten was the modulation - the LFO / Sample+Hold routing to modulate the ADSR / VCO / VCF - it could produce many interesting effects and S&H sounds. Kriminal tried to capture this in Felix, as well as making it versatile in the normal spectrum of sounds.

Features:

  • 1 VCO (saw/tri/pulse) plus white noise generator.
  • 1 LFO - sine/square/S+H.
  • 2 Sub Oscillators : square (-1 and -2 oct).
  • VCF - 4pole LP self oscillating filter.
  • VCA - ADSR.
  • 200+ Presets.

The answer is to the person who put 1 star to Kriminal synthesizers to attract attention to himself. Do you even know how old these things are? Definitely more than 10, maybe more than 15. The developer has probably retired a long time ago and does not have a personal website. It would be kind of you to remove the negative reviews, because it has nothing to do with synthesizers, which are still pretty good if you agree to 32-bits. For older synthesizers, I recommend that you search on sites like Plugins4free and Archive.org - I found a collection of Kriminal synthesizers for you:

Here, on KVR, there are banks of presets for some of them from other users that you can download. The best presets I've heard from Kujashi, you could probably find this on Music-Society.de
Kindly yours...

Hello IV, how are you?

I definitely didn't want to attract attention to myself. As a newbie user, I rely on this website (or google) to download any VST + I don't have the conditions now to purchase a VST, so, again, I need to rely on the free options I get. The review I did has nothing to do about any personal attack, relax. I wanted, and still want, to have access to the Kitten and The Bass Terminal, if possible. The KVR website didn't allow me to just ask "Where can I find the download option?", would be way easier for me, and less stressful for you, I believe. Plugins4Free I search everyday, Archive.org I never saw before.

Thanks again for the tips.
