J74 HarmoTools is a set of Ableton Live (Max for Live) devices for Real-Time MIDI harmonization. They can be used to detect chord and scales (from MIDI clips and MIDI input) and can adapt MIDI tracks to follow the detected chords and scales in real-time.

The tool set includes:

- Chord detection MIDI plugin.

- Scale detection MIDI plugin.

- MIDI harmonizer (filter) plugin following the detected chords or scales.

- Rack of chords for working with scales.

- Tools for collaboration with other musicians using a TCP/IP network.

- Tools for guitar chord and scale visualization.
