KG COMP II is a dual-stage compressor that perfectly integrates the warmth and dynamic control capabilities of analog hardware into a modern workflow. In addition to traditional compression parameters such as threshold, ratio, attack, and release, it provides secondary attack and release controls for musical and natural dynamic processing, enabling complex and subtle sound shaping. Through dual-stage compression technology, it adds rich and deep analog character along with smooth gain reduction, and includes Warm, Bright, and Analog modes that can impart vintage character from the input to the output of the audio signal. In particular, the sidechain high-pass / low-pass filter (SC Filter) and Alpha knob allow precise control of frequency-dependent compression, providing unparalleled flexibility in mixing and mastering stages. The GR (gain reduction) meter clearly shows the degree of compression visually, and the parallel compression function via the Mix knob enables more powerful and distinctive dynamic processing by blending dry and wet signals.
