KAGE EQP II

The KG EQP II Stereo is a two-band program equalizer that precisely emulates the smoothness and musical qualities of the legendary analog tube equalizer. The plug-in is designed to add warmth, depth, and a unique sense of resonance to the track, especially in delicate mixing and mastering environments. The equalizer provides independent boost (BOOST) and attenuation (ATTEN) controls for the lower and higher ranges, respectively, for a unique interaction that gives the sound an organic character. In the lower register section, you can select a frequency to adjust through the 'CPS' knob, apply boost and attenuation at the same time to create a creative tone shaping that removes unnecessary resonance while maintaining a sense of punch. In the higher register section, you can select a high frequency to adjust through the 'KCS' knob and use the 'BOOST' and 'ATTEN' to control clarity and airiness. In particular, the two 'MUSICAL' knobs located in the higher register add musical color to the equalizing result, helping the sound blend naturally and not artificially. The "ANALOG" switch emulates subtle harmonic distortion and nonlinear reactions unique to vacuum tube circuits, adding depth and texture to equalized sound, and making KGEQP II a magical tool that brings sound to life, not just a frequency adjustment tool.
