KAGE SUBFIRE II

The KG Subfire II is a sub-base enhancer plug-in designed to give the low-band of sound a strong presence, depth, and analog texture. The tool is specifically optimized for adding punchy, rich sub-base energy to the kick drum, base line, and entire mix to create a hard, full bass that the listener can feel with his or her body. Its core function, the 'SUBFIRE' knob, goes beyond simple equalizing to create new harmonics and sub-harmonics in the frequency band below the selected crossover point, creating a powerful, dense ultra-low range that seems to be beyond the limits of the regeneration system. The 'BODY' control adjusts the overall weight and thickness of the generated low-band to lay the foundation for the sound, and the 'X-OVER' knob precisely sets the frequency division point at which low-band processing begins, allowing the effect to be focused only on the desired area.
