BUILT-IN SOUND ENGINE

Play sounds directly from KeyPad without any external app. Load SF2 SoundFonts or SFZ files for rich instrument libraries, or import WAV and M4A samples for custom sounds. The low-CPU engine maps samples across the full keyboard automatically, so you can start playing immediately. Sound files persist across sessions for a seamless experience.

Control Logic Pro, Ableton Live, or any Mac music software from your iPad or iPhone. KeyPad offers two ways to connect:

Wireless (Network MIDI): Connect over your local network using Bonjour/Network MIDI - no cables required. Perfect for studio setups where you want freedom of movement.

Wired (Inter-Device MIDI): Plug your iOS device directly into your Mac via USB cable for a rock-solid, zero-latency connection. Ideal for live performance and recording sessions where reliability is critical.

AUV3 PLUGIN

Load KeyPad directly inside GarageBand, AUM, Cubasis, BeatMaker, Drambo, or any AUv3-compatible host. Control your instruments without switching apps. All settings save with your project for instant recall.

STANDALONE APP

TOUCH-OPTIMIZED PERFORMANCE

Height-Based Velocity: Touch keys at different vertical positions for dynamic velocity control. Three curve options let you customize response for natural, expressive playing on your iOS device's touch screen.

Aftertouch & MPE: Express yourself with pressure-sensitive control after the initial key press. Choose between Mono Aftertouch (channel-wide), Poly Aftertouch (per-note), or XY MPE mode for multidimensional expression. Remap aftertouch output to any MIDI CC or Pitch Bend for flexible integration with any synth or effect.

XY Performance Pad: Control two parameters simultaneously with multi-touch gestures. Assign any MIDI CC to X and Y axes for filter sweeps, effect morphing, or live sound manipulation.

Smart Layout: KeyPad automatically adapts to your device orientation and size. Full layout on iPad displays all controls. Compact keyboard-only mode works perfectly on iPhone or when used with other apps in Split View.

OSC OUTPUT

Send MIDI data as Open Sound Control messages to networked applications. Enable wireless control of desktop software like Ableton Live, Max/MSP, or TouchDesigner from your iOS device. Configure custom host and port for advanced setups.
