Lumina is a modern optical compressor designed for musical dynamics control, analog-style tone shaping, and fast, intuitive workflow.

Built for vocals, bass, guitars, drums, synths, mix bus and mastering, Lumina combines smooth program-dependent compression with a tone engine designed to add depth, density and movement without sacrificing clarity.

Inspired by the behaviour of classic optical hardware while extending the concept with more modern control and stereo-aware processing, Lumina is designed to feel natural and musical across a wide range of material from subtle levelling to more obvious colour and dynamic shaping.

At the core of Lumina are four Character modes that reshape the response and feel of the compressor:

Classic delivers balanced optical-style compression for everyday mixing.
Smooth offers softer, polished dynamics handling for vocals, pads and mastering.
Forward adds presence, articulation and energy to help sources move forward in a mix.
Clamp provides faster, tighter control for bass, drums and more focused material.

Lumina also features a built-in Calibrate system that analyses incoming material, adjusts the drive stage for more musical compression behaviour, and helps maintain level consistency for more reliable A/B decisions.

The compressor section is paired with analog-inspired tone shaping designed to add subtle harmonic weight, glue and transformer-style colour while remaining controlled and mix-friendly.
