The McPlugins suite is a collection of professional audio compressors developed by XeniAudio, designed to deliver the warm, musical character of classic analog hardware with the precision and flexibility of modern digital processing. Starting with v1.3.0, every emulation has been profiled against measurements of real analog compressors and rebuilt around the captured signatures.
(transfer curve, attack/release, harmonic content, frequency response).
McPlugins goes beyond conventional compression. Thanks to real-time inter-plugin communication, any instance of an "Msc" version can sidechain another — across tracks, no routing required.
Frequency-specific ducking, cross-track gain riding, multiband sidechain triggering: workflows that simply weren't possible before, now in a single plugin suite.
v1.6.0 — Tube reworked, ranges that mean something. The Tube mode was rebuilt against the Manley Vari-Mu captures: dead-flat linear-phase oversampling, 2nd-harmonic-dominant saturation, and a Vari-Mu gain reduction that finally engages where it should. Attack/Release are now musically scaled, every parameter shows the hardware-authentic range of the modeled unit, and Wet/Dry can be linked for a classic Mix-knob feel. UI scales up to 400 % for 4K displays.

All the power of Mc, plus inter-plugin communication via shared memory. Send the sidechain signal from one track to another — even across plugin formats — via lock-free ring buffers in shared memory.
Perfect for: dynamic sidechain between kick and bass, group ducking, chained compression.
Precision multi-band processing with 1 to 6 independent bands. Default crossovers at 80 Hz, 250 Hz, 1 kHz, 4 kHz, 10 kHz. Each band has its own compressor with independent threshold, ratio, attack, release, makeup gain and HPF. Linkwitz-Riley LR4 crossovers for transparent phase separation.
Features: per-band bypass, solo/mute, global + per-band GR metering, per-band sidechain (DAW input or shared-memory source), integrated spectral analyser per band.
The ultimate version: 6-band multi-band processing + real-time inter-plugin sidechain communication. Each band can receive a different sidechain source from other "Msc" plugins, with timeline alignment for sample-accurate DAW sync.
