This plugin is pretty good when it comes to idea generation; I find I use it when I have beat block/need a bit of inspiration. I do wish that the actual algorithm was tweaked a little bit, but for $50 you can't complain. Overall, a pretty solid vst.

I bought this pretty early on and I've been pretty happy with it. It was inexpensive. The updates have been great. I know there are mixed feelings about these types of plugins. I tend to look at it like having a session player that isn't ever late. Expectations are everything with this. If you think it's going to spit out some breathtaking full composition, it won't. I find that it really shines as a lead and riff generator. I never use it to start with but it is an option, I'd say, after you have a working idea and just need a little something. Routing it through something like a flute with legato engaged can be powerful. Routing is through a piano might not be as moving. Regardless, you can generate endless melodies and then drag the MIDI files onto your DAWs timeline and edit them. It isn't something to rely on. It won't make bad producers good or make beats for them. It's just a tool with a set of functions that can be very useful if applied correctly.
