MetaHost

MetaHost is a VST3 plugin host loadable inside another VST3 host. Eight channel-pair columns, three slot rows per column — drop a different plugin chain on each stereo pair of a multichannel bus.

It exists for the cases where a DAW or playback environment won't let you route inserts the way you actually need to: active speaker rigs running multi-way DSP, surround mixes needing per-channel processing, stereo with parallel effect chains, or any time you wish your host had more flexible plumbing.

Key Features.

— 16 channels, 8 stereo pairs. Each column owns one stereo channel pair — perfect for active 8-way speaker rigs, 7.1 surround per-channel processing, or stereo with parallel chains.

— Three-row chain per pair. Stack plugins in series within each channel pair — load, bypass with one tap, swap on the fly.

— Floating editor windows. Each hosted plugin's UI opens in its own resizable window. No nested frames, no clipping, no scaling weirdness.

— Save & Load full host state. Including every hosted plugin's preset. Saved to disk or inlined into the parent project — reload exactly where you left off.

— Atomic-flag bypass. Per-slot bypass is thread-safe and click-free, even when toggling during playback.
