midiO

I've been using this successfully with Garageband 6, and love it. Just upgraded to Garageband 10, and it won't accept midiO. Is there a workaround or alternative plugin?

I think it's because it's 32-bit. I too want to be able to get live MIDI out of GB too and into VFX (VST host) and then take the audio out of that back in to GB via SoundFlower. Anything other than midiO out there that will work? I don't mind paying a few quid.

I WANT TO DO THE EXACT SAME THING! I NEED TO SEND MIDI OUT TO A STANDALONE SYNTH (A MICROTONAL PHYSICAL MODELING SYNTH CALLED 2032) AND THEN ROUTE IT BACK INTO GARAGEBAND WITH SOUNDFLOWER, BUT DARN IT ALL GARAGEBAND 10 IS JUST KILLING ME.

WORST OF ALL, I WIPED MY HARD DRIVE YESTERDAY ASSUMING (BAD IDEA I KNOW) THAT I COULD ALWAYS GET BACK TO 6.0.5 SINCE DOWNLOADING GARAGEBAND 10 JUST PUT 6 IN ITS OWN FOLDER, BUT I'M HAVING TROUBLE FINDING A WAY TO GET IT BACK SINCE IT DIDN'T COME WITH THE GARAGEBAND 10 DOWNLOAD THIS TIME AROUND... I DO HAVE MY OLD DISK WITH GARAGEBAND 5 BUT CAN'T FIND AN UPDATE TO 6.0.0, WHICH I NEED BECAUSE I CAN'T UPGRADE STRAIGHT TO 6.0.5... PRETTY FRUSTRATING. I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO USE MY OLD PLUG INS IN A PROGRAM I ALREADY OWNED...
