Mono2Stereo Shimmer

"Mono2Stereo Shimmer" is a dynamic sound-effect that can liven up mono or stereo source-audio that are too digitally sterile or clinical or too perfect or simply just too life-less (For example some VSTi synths, or reverb-tails, that lack dynamic movement in the sound they produce on their own).

The plugin has 10 independently run 'shimmer' algorithms in an attempt to make sure the sound does not sound repetitive or synthetic.

The user can control depth and modulation-tempo, which means the resulting shimmer-effect can be dialed in from very subtle and hardly noticeable to very extreme and noisy, and can also bypass the bass-part of the audio for a different effect-flavor.

It does not simulate or emulate any real-world device, but will create a sound somewhat like the one you can get if you record a mono-sound onto a stereo-tape (Which will lead to small subtle sound-variations and deviations from the perfect mono that digital can create) or the 'fading' you sometimes get when listening to AM-radio (Which can sound more or less like a dynamic 'whooshing' that constantly changes the spectral distribution of the sound).

It has zero latency and can be used for Live performance or mixing/mastering use.

The plugin does not have an exe-installer, but a dll-file, so no managers are installed and no changes are made to the Windows-registry.
