I'm going to keep this short because there's only so much one can say about this plug, It's a simple filter after all. I like the interface, clean and simple, also I like the "meter" display around the knobs it ads to the visual memory when trying different settings on sounds. What I really like about it is its sound. It's got just a tad of life to it, not cold and sterile yet it doesn't change the intent of your sound if that makes sense, just adds a little warmth. I mainly use it as a quick highpass or bandpass insert for synth sounds so I can't say how it acts on a variety of audio material, but I do know that for me it gets used very often. There's no manual but then again if you don't understand what it does, you should stop reading this and go read some tutorials on the basics of electronic music production. The only presets I could see ever being useful for it would be maybe some set to various frequencies like a bass cut or maybe some stuff for voice/instrument ranges.. but I say just use your ears. Never needed support for this plug but I do know that the developer responds to emails and is quite active so if you needed support I'd bet my left nut you could get it. VFM = FREE.

It's just me or has the multifilter been discontinued by TAL? I can't find it anywhere on their site. And that's a shame, 'cause it do looks prommising.

You can download it here on his old website :

http://www.kunz.corrupt.ch/?Products:VST_Multi_Filter

Later it has been replaced by this one which is far better :

http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-filter

(compare the descriptions... and you'll be immediately convinced!)
