Amplification, reduction and extraction of the transients
Transients are the sounds of high amplitude and short duration, at the beginning of a musical sound or a voice.
The Transient plugin enables the possibility to amplify, attenuate or extract the transients from an input track. It can be really useful for example to amplify the hit a of bass drum or a snare or at the opposite, to attenuate it. In the same way, on a voice, the Transient plugin enables the possibility to attenuate the mouth noises, such as plosives and sibiliance or at the opposite to amplify them to give more presence. Finally, the transients can be simply extracted, in order to apply later the desired processing.
