Nova-67P is a parallel parametric equalizer plugin combined with a compressor. The compressor can operate in full-band and split-band modes. In latter case the plugin operates as a parallel dynamic equalizer.

good tool for mastering engineer like me, but I have to play with more.
I like soloing and minimalistic interface.
Read ReviewNice plug :)
very nice...
my personal winner this year already....
Vlad FTW.
Hey.
Unfortunately, the plug un doesn't show up in LogicX 10.0.7, and crashes Ableton Live 9.1.4 under Mac OS X 10.9.4.
best regards.
joerg.
Tried this out today on a busy, muddy mix, and was able to clear up the low end beautifully without impacting the rest of the mix. I'm really impressed with what it can do. Provides most of the functionality of the expensive alternatives, with a really slick UI. For some actions (like soloing a band) however, I have a hard time remembering how to enable it. E.g. when I want to solo a band, I end up resetting some of it's parameters instead. Was it CTRL, ALT or SHIFT-double click??? I have to either look it up in the manual, or try them all out... Apart from that, great stuff. Oh, and the manual is really clear as well, explaining everything in detail. I don't think it will replace my current Fabfilter MB, because I find that easier to use, but it comes close. Would immediately recommend this to everyone looking for a free multiband compressor. This one easily won my top vote for the KVR developer challenge 2014. Way to go! :-)
This is a very cool plug! I just briefly tried v. 1.02 in Live 9.1.4 and Logic X 10.0.7 on OS 10.9.4 (same set up as Joerg above) with no probs at all – runs fine. It'll take a while to get familiar with Nova-67P, but she's a keeper, for sure.
Kind regards, .
Joachim.
Please check the latest version 1.0.3.
I really think the parallel topology bridges the gap between typical min. phase serial EQ's (which have more character but potential phase issues) and linear phase (which have no character which is the point). I really can't get a "bad" or "phasey" sound with this thing, no matter how jacked up I set it. Perfect for mastering and isn't quite as CPU hungry as a linear phase EQ and the results are better in my opinion. Waves could put this out and charge $250 and people would buy it. But because Vlad has a soul, we are now improving our recordings and can eat dinner too! ;)

Is this plugin VST3 anyone.
(sorry if dumb question)
Hello, .
No, it is not VST3, it is VST2.4.
- On Windows copy the file Nova67P.dll into you common VST plugins folder.
- On Mac copy the file Nova67P.vst into /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST and the file Nova67P.component into /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components.
... and there are no dumb questions. A question is always asked to learn. Only answers can sometimes be dumb.
Thx... the words of a wise person :) the people around you are lucky far too much hate on this internet lol.
