Pentaphonizer

Pentaphonizer offers stereo to five-channel-surround translation.

Features

Cinetic section:

• Analysis of the main frequency (pitch tracker) and the intensity (volume tracker) of the two channels of a stereo input signal.
• Modulation of the X/Y position of the two inputs according to the analyzed signal : center position, amplitude of the movement and smoothness.
• Each channel tracker can control the X or Y position of the two inputs.
• Spatial areas settings for each output.

Spectral section:

• Division of the two inputs signals in four frequency bands with three crossover filters.
• Each frequency band can be freely positioned (and automated) inside the 2D space.
• Intensity settings for each band / channel
• Spatial areas settings for each output.
• Possibility to view the spectrum of each band / channel.

Plus:

• Stereo reverberation section with spatial position of the two channels.
• Easy combination of the three sections with a separate volume adjustment, the 2D view shows only the objects that correspond to an active section.
• Pre-assigned MIDI controller numbers for easy use with a control surface.
• 128 patches, help screen.
