Phantom

Phantom is a compressor that combines multiband compression and dynamic stereo redistribution.

General Operation:

• Automatic threshold: Defined by the input volume.
• "Compression" knob: The higher it is, the stronger the compression, with additional effects on the signal processing.

Key Features:

• Multiband compression:
  • The signal is split into multiple frequency bands for precise control.
  • "Exp" knob: Adjusts the intensity of this compression.
• Stereo Redistribution:
  • A part of the signal is reintroduced into the stereo image depending on the frequencies.
  • "Stereo Morph" knob: The higher it is, the more the signal is redistributed between the mid and side.
• Soft Saturation ("Gas"):
  • Applies light exponential saturation.
  • At low levels, it's subtle; at full, it colors the sound.
• Final Compression ("Glue"):
  • Final compression to smooth the signal.
  • Slow Attack | Fast Release for optimal cohesion.
• Optimized processing with no drastic phase movement for maximum transparency.
