Almost looks like they realized that it's not so easy to write such a program at all. There's still no info about it available. I'm looking for something like this for years and found 2 products by now, that are both unusable for different reasons.
1. Midifier.
Recognizes any note perfectly, but it's monophonic. Would still be usable for me, if it hadn't a latency of more than 200 ms. Any latency more than 10-15 ms makes live recordings hard to impossible. And just as a converter (not real time) I'd prefer one that at least supports polyphony.
2. WIDI Audio to MIDI.
Well, it's latency free and polyphonic... but has a totally unusable note recognition. I think it doesn't properly recognize the overtones, or something like that. The MIDI output is a total mess, no matter if I use my acoustic or electric guitar or my voice. It plays random chords although I'm playing single notes, and it produces a lot of random glitches. Adjusting the controls doesn't help in any way.
Still looking for a latency free one with a working note recognition. Polyphony would be nice too.
