Polarity-MD

Polarity-MD features four-band dynamics with upward + downward compression, per-band clipping.

Features:

• Dynamics Control: Make drum busses punchy and masters loud. A global Amount knob dials in the ratio of all compressors at once total control with one turn.
• Up/Down Compression: Like the beloved OTT, upward compression brings up quiet sounds while downward compression tames peaks. Global knobs for threshold, ratio, and attack/release across all bands.
• Per-Band Clipping: Cut off peaks per band for loud, punchy drums. Post-FX hard clipper at 0 dB ensures you never hit the red. Click any clip meter to hear what's being clipped (delta mode).
• Pre/Post FX Stages: Pre-FX controls how loud and compressed you hit the 4-band splitter. Post-FX shapes your final output level full control of the entire signal chain.
• LUFS Metering: Built-in LUFS meters show exactly how loud your audio is before and after processing. Know your loudness at a glance.
• Band Splitting: Define your own crossover frequencies or use presets classic OTT sound, mastering splits, and more. 4-band Linkwitz-Riley precision.
• Linear Phase Crossovers: Switch to linear phase crossover filters so you can run Polarity-MD in parallel chains with cleaner phase behavior.
• Crossover Slopes: Choose how steep the split should be. The slope controls and analyzer guides make it easy to hear and see how aggressive the crossover network gets.
• 4x Oversampling: Enable 4x oversampling with a single button to reduce aliasing and get smoother sound when driving compressors and clippers.
• Per-Band Normalizer: Every band now includes a normalizer to help level balance and reach louder, more controlled results across the spectrum.
• Bypass + Match Level: Use global bypass and match level to compare processed and unprocessed audio at similar loudness for more accurate A/B decisions.
• Solo + Clip Delta Per Band: Solo each band to inspect problem areas, and use clip delta on every band to hear exactly what the clipper removes.
• Pro Mode: Toggle Pro Mode to reveal extra controls and advanced buttons for detailed shaping without cluttering the default workflow.
• Global Input Gain: Push all bands at once into clipping or compression using global input gain before the multiband split.
