Prismate

Prismate is a free parametric EQ plugin for macOS. Its three tunable bands plus low/high cut filters cover everything from surgical mud-arrest to adding air and presence on top, with a real-time spectrum analyzer and response curve showing exactly what you're shaping.

Three-band parametric EQ:

• Low shelf — 20–500 Hz, ±24 dB.
• Mid bell — 200–8000 Hz, ±24 dB, fully parametric Q (0.1–10.0).
• High shelf — 2000–20000 Hz, ±24 dB, for air and sheen.
• Per-band bypass (LOW / MID / HIGH) to A/B any band.
• Band Solo — isolate a one-octave bandpass on any band to find the frequency.

Cut filters and analog feel:

• Low Cut — 20–1000 Hz, switchable 12 / 24 / 48 dB/oct slopes.
• High Cut — 1000–20000 Hz, 12 dB/oct.
• Q-Link — mid Q narrows with gain for the natural bandwidth curve of analog EQs.
• Natural Phase — optional 2× oversampling to stop EQ cramping near Nyquist.

Visual feedback:

• Real-time 2048-point FFT spectrum analyzer with a logarithmic 20 Hz–20 kHz axis.
• Live EQ response curve drawn from the actual filter magnitudes.
• Glow that scales with total boost.

• Auto-Gain compensation keeps perceived loudness steady as you adjust.
• Output level (−24 to +6 dB) with a soft-clip and hard-limit safety stage.
• DC blocker to stop offset from asymmetric curves.
• 15 factory presets, plus preset save/load, A/B snapshots, and randomize.
• Resizable window with tooltips and double-click knob reset.
