Its amazing what this plugin can do, many features that I used to need another 3 plugins to stuff like gain match, mid and side EQ along with stereo EQ... All of that can be done (well) in this plugin alone.

The only option for who's looking for a decent free linear phase eq. Sounds incredible. Long live the developer.
Read ReviewWith its super easy to enter filter parameters and zero latency mode, I use this as my headphone correction EQ placed "post everything else" for all my work in an ASIO environment. Yup, a free plugin correcting a $1300 set of headphones, lol. Just search the net for "headphone correction curves" to find parms to enter into this plugin to make your headphones sound a whole lot more true. Even my $100 headphones sound a whole lot better with a proper correction curve entered into this plugin. Thanks for a great plugin.

Using this with Catalina 10.15.7 and Logic Pro X. 12 bands are brilliant and this sounds really good. The only problem I'm having is that it's spiking one of the CPU's bars hugely and often causing crackling sounds. Bypassing doesn't change that but as soon as I switch it off completely the spike goes down.
Read ReviewBest EQ I have ever used but I have a question. When loading presets, does QRange show which preset you are using? If it does, I can't see it! :-).

Congrats on this EQ! It sounds really great! With Latency maxed out, I'm getting an extremely accurate & clean response, that I usually only know from Eq's (Hw and Sw), that are much, much, much more expensive!:) I'm officially impressed! Keep up the great work.

Awesome plugin, thanks a bunch! That's an amazing level of functionaity and comfort for a freebie. I really like the sound from my first tests with it.
Does it generate different IRs from different latencies? I stick with "Insane" and it sounds great to me, but I wonder if I placeboed myself.
Thanks.
"added added non Linear Phase but latency free mode."
Great, thank you! :).
Works fine as a VST2x64, but the VST3 crashes my Ableton Live 1.9/Windows 10 setup. FYI.
As far as I know Ableton doesn't support VST3 (correct me if I'm wrong).
Ableton Live 10.1 supports VST3.
Hey all. Can anyone help? I've tried downloading this plugin so many times but my computer can't open the files. I'm not technically inept but I'm also not super tech savvy. I also tried downloading the "framework" IPlug-Youlean (?) and I downloaded whatever JUCE had to offer but still the program won't install. I use Mixcraft 8 so I'm not even sure I can use this plugin (I think I can). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time. I have Windows 7.
If you've never installed any plugins in form of a DLL/VST3 before, you should google how to do it for your DAW.
It would involve you unpacking the zip and putting plugins in a specific folder on your disk, then scanning for the plugins in your DAW. After that, they would become available.
If you would download this plugin from this page (a .zip with 4 files in it, dlls and vst3s) and would follow the needed steps, it would definitely work.
Really advise you to get used to it because it's a process that is not hard and that you would have to go through a lot if you'd like to expand your pallette :) Best of luck.
Thanks so much! Sorry, I didn't respond sooner... the notification went to my spam folder in my email.
That's perfect. I guess I had installed other plugins that were installed in a more user friendly, "click the install button" kind of way.
I moved the unzipped files to my VST folder and it worked out perfect. Thanks so much. I really appreciate it.

Good free alternative to an infamous plugin eq that costs more than 650 €.
It's a great plugin, but don't work on last Mac OS Catalina (((because Catalina does not support 32-bit plugins)
waiting eq updates.
Pls note that products like 32-bit Lives and Unify let you use 32-bit pluggs in a 64-bit only DAW. Also BlueCats Patchwork works in that respect. The only thing they do not convert are those old ones that depends on Rosetta. Removed from the MAC around Lion.

I understand what can be used with bridges, but this will be a crutch and this method does not suit me. And don't forget. - 32lives and unify - cost money and not a free
I really hope that the author of the plugin will create a 64-bit version that will work without problems in mac os catalina.
Will be a Linux port?
Hate to sound like a fool but I cannot for the life of me find where to download this plugin (Qrange). I'm new to KVR. Any insight is thoroughly appreciated.
Gracias, Danny - For some reason Chrome was not allowing me to download by clicking on those links, but if I right-clicked I could save the .zip. I had to also give Chrome permission to keep the file because it was an unsecure download, apparently. So, the problem was on my end, with browser settings. Thank you for your assistance.

how to download lkjb Qrange, where is the download button?
Download doesn't work. It redirects to general list of plugins for Windows. Can this be fixed?
It does, you're just pressing the wrong button, as I did before (cause I saw it on old KVR).
Scroll to the top, look to your left, there's a "Downloads" section. It links directly to a zip file. Hope it helped.
If this doesn't work, then there's something wrong with your firewall/browser settings, or maybe the developer's site was down.
Wow, that gave me a good laugh about my super skills :D It was a wrong button indeed. Everything worked fine, thank you.
Great EQ.
I didn't manage to forward the latency setting to live, to adjust it from a knob/preset seeing on an audio effect rack. any suggestions?
I'm trying to get QRange to work for me in Reaper, but so far engaging the plugin simply acts as a mute button for me. Whatever track I put it on, when I engage it, it simply turns the audio off on that track. Any ideas for how I can get it working? Thanks a lot.
Does anyone know how I can contact developer about a bug in QRange?
ableton + vst3 crashes instantly when loading plugin.
I noticed that there is an email address on lkjb's website. I'm sure it hasn't been there before. May be worth trying to contact the developer.
vst3 instantly crashes on live 11.
