Compressor Controls & Functions:

• Attack – Tight / Open
  • Tight = Fast attack.
  • Open = Slow attack.
• Threshold – More EFX / No EFX
  • Adjusts the threshold level, determining when compression is applied.
• Release – Aggressive / Smooth
  • Aggressive = Fast release.
  • Smooth = Slow release.
• Makeup Gain – Louder / Silence
  • Louder increases the volume after compression.
  • Silence lowers the output level.
• Transparent Button
  • Enables standard compression behavior without added tonal shaping.
• Hype Button
  • Introduces saturation, enhancing transients and creating a thicker, fuller sound.
• Compression Ratios – Light Medium Heavy Smash
  • Light = 2:1.
  • Medium = 4:1.
  • Heavy = 8:1.
  • Smash = 50:1.
• Auto Gain Button
  • Automatically compensates for volume loss caused by gain reduction, maintaining level consistency.
