Slam Dawg is a Mastering Processor for polishing your Beats, Tracks, Busses and Entire Mixes quickly, without losing focus or requiring immense technical knowledge.
Modern Producers, Artists and Engineers often look for tools that are simple, sound great and are easy to use.
This plugin is designed to get you hands on with sculpting your sound. Its got controls for tweaking the low end of your track very accurately with the "BOOM", "THUMP" controls, ideal for modern dance music, be it hiphop, dubstep, house and other electronic music. The "Heat" Dial adds some Harmonic Distortion to fatten up tracks and make them more "analog" sounding. "Airz" adds clarity to the top end of the track with just one control, and "Stereo Width" is designed to widen you track spatially without any artifacts and is fully mono compatible. You can also "Glue" your track or dial in some extreme compression using the "Pop" and "Crush" Controls. There are also "WET" and "DRY" controls, so you can parallel processes your signal and get only as much color as you desire for full control. This is a plugin designed to emulate characteristics of Vintage and Modern Outboard Gear with simple controls, avoiding tons of pages and complex terms. The idea is to get a great sound quickly for the user.

Had downloaded the Slam Dawg demo a day ago.. am damn curious about these kind of all in one plugins.. lol.
So the question is can it make my workflow better, and does it really even sound good ?
Okay, so i put it through the first test.. my drums..
ok.. the minute i inserted the plugin, there was a slight difference to my sound.. the image was slightly better in default mode..
The pop control was next.., this is very sensitive.. a little can get you hard compression, for the type of hiphop production that i do.. this was bang on.
The Airz knob brings some sharpeness to my snares and hats on the track..
Also tried the thump, boom and mud out, my track already had bass in it, so i didn't need to use these..
Maybe a cut filter would have been nice.., anycase, i used a low cut before slam dawg and re-boosted bass.., sounded really cool, i think they have some kind of bass enhancer going on there.
Ultimately i did buy it as its on sale at the moment.. cause i got what i wanted for my beat.., but maybe its not for more tech heads..
if you want to get a great sound quick, this is really useful, but if you want a lot of control etc.. then you are better of with ozone .
I'm keepin it ;)

Excellent looking plugin, Demo-ing it now, really, it's quite impressive for me, someone with limited technical skills, and thanks for the helpful videos.
Just got it.., sounds good .. i like the pop compression and stereo width..
The tutorial videos sound good, the interface is neat. Will check it out.
LOL...looks like you and UrbanCulture joined just to make a comment on your product.
HaHaHa!!!! I saw that too.....
Thanks to UrbanCulture for his short, simple but relevant critique...so overall a good plugin for the ones that don't wan't to get their head and time into the details of mastering AFAIK .
Hi guys this Gaurav, and i am the creator of Slam Dawg Just wanted to say hello, and respond to the posts here.
Firstly I would like to explain that Slam Dawg is designed for serious producers, it is most definitely not a toy If you have downloaded the trial and played with it, you may agree with me .
I would encourage everyone interested in this type of a tool to check our sound examples, and then download a free trial and make a decision. Good or Bad is your verdict, all I can request is that you try
Thanks again for your interest,

I just bought it and as far as i could experience, it seems like a very clever combination of different process, my very first impression make me regret there's no brick wall limiter option at the end of the chain (so to say because there's likely that all stages are working in parallel), but that probably not the purpose of such plugin, i assume...
Roger Shah just got the Slam Dawg.. and he sent us a feedback...
I'm currently using Slam Dawg on the production of my new album. No matter if I use it for the final master or on the drum busses it always adds that extra punch to it, but you have to be very careful and just tweak it a little bit to get that extra punch but I can imagine that for other music genres you can go even crazier with it. Great sounding tool, easy to use, self explaining, I think this is a cool tool for the pro's but also very helpful for the producers who just started and need that extra punch on their next track. Thumbs up." - ROGER SHAH -
We have also sent it to Dave Pensado.., we will be putting up his review here too...
These guys don't put their names behind just anything..
but don't take anyones word for it.. try it first...
Mindbeet, there's no reason for such as a smartass review. It's one thing to be honest when reviewing a product, but to resort to calling people idiots who like and use Slam Dog is uncalled for and invalidates your opinion.
I know, I'm sorry. Wasn't my best moment. Asked for it to be removed...
