Smudge. Turning back the years.

Tape has a remarkable ability to smooth waveforms at a fine level, particularly high frequencies. We took this idea beyond smoothing, and into the land of smudge:

• Two tapes modeled with different speeds for different types of smoothing.
• Tube input stage saturation for warmth and hot takes.
• Musical Motor Wear multi-stage vibrato, nailing that lo-fi vibe on Juno pads etc.
• Awesome for dialing in just a little bias on tracks that are harmonically harsh.
• Add some saturation and a decent amount of tape bias for killer hip-hop beats.
• Dial in motor wear, tape bias and some noise for dope lo-fi pads.
