SpectraLayers 13 Elements

SpectraLayers Elements 13 is the entry-level edition of Steinberg's spectral audio editor, using the same spectrogram-based, layer-driven editing environment as SpectraLayers Pro but with a reduced module set aimed at routine repair and restoration work. It carries automatic noise and hum reduction and AI-assisted vocal unmixing, along with version 13's shared workflow updates: Attenuate, Fade, Paste Into Selection, Paste Insert, and a corner-based handle for adjusting time and frequency selections simultaneously.

It suits engineers and producers who need core error correction, noise reduction, and unmixing tools without the full Pro module set. It runs as a standalone application or via ARA 2 inside Cubase, Nuendo, and other ARA 2-compatible DAWs. Elements is capped at a 96 kHz maximum sample rate and stereo (2-channel) processing, against Pro's 384 kHz and 16 channels.

Elements 13 does not include Unmix Sound Effects, Ambience Heal, the Reconstruct module, Unmix Two Voices, Voice DeCrosstalk, Voice DeClick, or Level Check, which remain exclusive to the Pro edition. It does carry the version 13 workflow improvements shared across both editions: batch processing across multiple open projects, interface layout presets, expanded keyboard shortcut assignment, and the updated Pro Tools AudioSuite Bridge plug-in.
