Stage Depth is a mixing tool designed to help create a more natural sense of depth and distance in a mix while preserving clarity, balance and musicality.

Instead of relying solely on reverb to push sounds backwards, Stage Depth combines processes such as stereo narrowing, transient shaping, early reflections and air absorption modelling into a simple and intuitive workflow.

Designed with orchestral, cinematic and modern production workflows in mind, Stage Depth aims to help place elements further back in the soundstage without excessively washing out the signal or compromising definition.
