SWRL is six motion effects, each on its own fader: chorus, spatial rotation, tremolo, diffusion reverb, rhythmic pump and saturation. Blend any combination and anything starts to breathe, a pad, a vocal, a whole drum bus. Shape the result with crossover protection, output filters, a spectrum analyzer and a stereo imager.

No effect chains to stack. No menus to dive through. Just faders and movement.

THE SIX CHARACTERS

Each has its own fader. Blend any combination:

• DRIFT: analog chorus and pitch wobble. Tape warmth and a gentle stereo drift.
• ORBIT: circular spatial rotation with Doppler depth. The sound circles the listener.
• FLUTTER: fast tremolo and stereo flicker. Shimmer up top, lo-fi tape damage if you push it.
• WASH: diffusion reverb. Transients smeared into ambient clouds.
• PULSE: tempo-synced rhythmic pump with sidechain-style ducking. Locks to your BPM.
• HEAT: harmonic saturation. Glow without the harshness.

60% Drift with a touch of Heat is a different sound entirely from 40% Pulse and some Wash. You design the movement.

MORE THAN ONE VOICING PER CHARACTER

Every character can sound like more than one thing. Right-click a knob to pick a voicing. Heat runs as a tube, tape, a transistor or a wavefolder. Wash can be a tight room, a bright plate, or a big dark cathedral. The other four have their own sets. Same six faders, a lot more to reach for.

SAFE / WILD / MENTAL

Three blend modes that change how the characters stack:

• SAFE: controlled and predictable. Effects stay balanced and the volume holds as you add them.
• WILD: unrestricted stacking. Effects compound freely. Louder and more aggressive.
• MENTAL: extreme processing, no dry bleed. Maximum intensity.

FULL CONTROL:

• Rate: modulation speed, free-running in Hz.
• Width: mono to wide stereo via mid/side.
• Mix: dry/wet blend for parallel processing, with input/output gain and stereo peak meters.
• Routing: parallel (PARAL) or serial (CHAIN).
• LFO shape: sine, triangle, square or saw, across Drift, Orbit and Flutter.
• A/B compare: store two parameter snapshots and toggle instantly. Saved with your project.
• Per-effect bandpass filters: drag to set frequency and bandwidth on each character. Double-click to reset to full range.
• Autogain: RMS-based gain compensation on the wet signal only.
• Crossover split: 48 dB/oct protection for your low end (or highs) before processing.
• Output filters: independent WET, DRY and FULL filters, 36 dB/oct HP and LP, each with its own resonance.
• Stereo imager: watch your stereo field while you dial, alongside the spectrum analyzer and filter-curve overlay.
• Chaos control: sets how far the randomizer pushes.
• Preset browser: 85 factory presets across 11 categories, with randomizer, mix lock, A/B and prev/next browsing.
• Resizable window.
