Syntropy 2 is a modern VST3/CLAP synthesizer and advanced sound-design instrument that generates sound in real time through mathematical modeling. It is designed for musicians who want inspiring, playable sounds immediately, together with the freedom to explore far beyond a fixed synthesis architecture.

Rather than limiting every patch to the same oscillators, filters, and signal path, Syntropy lets each preset define its own synthesis algorithm, tone, movement, and performance response. Its sonic range extends from expressive leads, basses, keys, pads, and rhythmic sounds to vocal textures, acoustic-inspired instruments, evolving atmospheres, cinematic effects, and timbres that conventional synthesizers cannot easily create.

Designed for both exploration and precise control, Syntropy turns mathematical structures into expressive musical instruments. Every preset can be its own synthesizer.

MATHEMATICAL SOUND ENGINE.

Syntropy builds sound from mathematical expressions, standard functions, and a wide range of custom functions developed specifically for synthesis. These can be combined with wavetable techniques, physical-modeling concepts, filters, envelopes, modulation, and original synthesis structures.

This formula-driven architecture does not force every sound through one predefined signal path. You can reshape an existing instrument, examine how it works, combine different techniques, or create entirely new synthesis behavior from first principles.

PLAY FIRST. GO DEEPER WHEN YOU CHOOSE.

You do not need to understand mathematics or write formulas to make music with Syntropy. Choose a preset, play immediately, and shape its character through up to 16 preset-specific performance and sound-design controls.

The preset Navigator helps you browse, search, and organize sounds quickly. When you want deeper control, open the Formula Editor to adjust synthesis parameters, modify the underlying algorithm, or build something completely new.

Expanded randomization tools provide another route to discovery. Randomize exposed controls, oscillator functions, filters, or FX while preserving the parts of a sound you already like. Syntropy can be a precise programming environment, a source of controlled surprises, or both.

240 NEW PRESETS FOR SYNTROPY 2.

Syntropy 2 includes 240 new factory presets designed for this generation of the instrument. The library covers acoustic-inspired instruments, expressive leads and keys, lush pads, deep basses, dance and rave grooves, vocal and formant-like textures, rhythmic sounds, cinematic effects, evolving atmospheres, and experimental timbres.

Each preset is ready to play and provides a practical starting point for production, composition, performance, and further sound design. Presets created in earlier versions remain compatible for users who want to continue working with their existing sounds.

PRECISION, EXPRESSION, AND MOVEMENT.

Syntropy uses 64-bit double-precision processing throughout its sound engine. Real-time oversampling is adjustable up to 32x, while dedicated 64x and 128x FIR modes provide high-quality offline rendering and multisample export. This precision-focused design helps complex formulas, dense modulation, and animated patches retain clarity and detail.

MPE, polyphonic pressure, and per-note pitch control allow each note to respond as an individual expressive voice. Parameters can be assigned to MIDI controllers or MPE expression sources for direct control of timbre, movement, articulation, and intensity. A dedicated ROLI Seaboard preset bank is included, together with alternative temperament options.

A 16-step arpeggiator, editable envelopes, synchronized movement, and up to five serial FX slots make it easy to create complete, animated sounds inside the instrument. Included effects range from reverb, chorus, phaser, delay, and convolution reverb to stereo widening, fuzz, clipping, and limiting.

CREATE YOUR OWN MULTISAMPLES.

Any Syntropy preset can be exported as a multisampled instrument for Bitwig, Decent Sampler, and SFZ/Sforzando-compatible workflows. Offline rendering lets you capture demanding patches at higher quality, build your own instrument libraries, share original sounds, or create lighter sampled versions for production and performance.

BUILT FOR MODERN WORKFLOWS.

Syntropy 2 is available for Windows and macOS as a VST3 plugin, CLAP plugin, and standalone application. Its presets are cross-platform, and the interface includes five color themes plus switchable Piano and MPE keyboard layouts.

FREE UPGRADES.

Syntropy 2 is a free upgrade for all Syntropy 1 customers. Future Syntropy updates and feature releases will also be provided free of charge to existing customers.

INTRODUCTORY OFFER.

Syntropy 2 is available for €69 through 14 August 2026. The regular price of €99 takes effect on 15 August 2026.

Download the demo and discover what becomes possible when every preset can be its own synthesizer.
