Tamer

Rast Sound has released Tamer, a dynamic resonance suppressor for macOS and Windows.

Tamer is designed to control resonances only when they actually appear, instead of applying static cuts all the time. It continuously analyzes the spectrum at high resolution and suppresses harsh peaks, ring, boxiness, and buildup the moment they become a problem, then lets go when they are gone.

Target the exact place
Stereo, Mid, Side, and Mid+Side modes let you work exactly where the problem lives. Clean up center-heavy issues like vocal honk or bass buildup without touching the width, or treat side-only resonance in reverbs, rooms, and wide instruments independently.

Delta monitoring lets you hear only what Tamer is removing, while Transient Protection helps keep attacks intact. A live spectrum display, suppression overlay, orb markers, draggable frequency limits, and ECO/HIGH modes make refinement fast and visual.

45 presets, named by problem
Tamer includes 45 factory presets across Vocals, Mix, Drums, Instruments, and Signature categories. They are named after the issue being addressed, so it is easy to start from the right place.
