These patches are the result of 18 months of happy exploration with ACE. The overall goal for all these patches has been to find interesting, ear-tickling sounds that are expressive, useful and playable.

Of course, ACE can have a hefty appetite for CPU power, but these patches have deliberately been designed on a modest machine (pre i3), so they should be comfortably playable by almost everyone.

The patches are organised into five basic categories: FX, Keys, Monos, Pads and Shorts. The emphasis is firmly on pads.

Notes for each patch appear in the information panel, as well as collected into a PDF for the whole soundset. Every patch has a Mod Wheel (MW) assignment and most have something assigned to Aftertouch (AT) as well.

The soundset has now been updated to include 80 patches (37 Pads, 10 FX, 16 Keys, 8 Monos, 9 Shorts). Purchasers will receive any further ACE patches released by Coincidental Music as a free update.
