The Free Orchestra 2

The Free Orchestra 2 is a unique offering from ProjectSAM that puts high-quality orchestral sounds at your immediate disposal. Each month a new cinematic instrument is added to The Free Orchestra 2's library, sourced from across ProjectSAM's acclaimed catalogue, ensuring high-quality and diverse audio for users.

One of the significant features of The Free Orchestra 2 is its recording environment. All sounds were expertly recorded in the same concert hall setting that ProjectSAM's flagship orchestral collections were captured. Starting with lush Sul Tasto Strings, the library expands every month with the addition of a new instrument.

The Free Orchestra 2 comes with the same extensive instrument control as its predecessor, The Free Orchestra. Users can adjust the Attack and Decay of sounds, add Reverb, tweak the Limiter, engage a (low-pass) Filter, or set Stereo controls. You'll also find a Master EQ button for a high/low-end boost and an Octaver button that adds an octave to any sound, as well as further settings like visual transposing and range selection in the Advanced view.

As well as the individual sounds that are added to the library every month, you'll also be able to combine patches using the ten mixer slots provided. This way you can create custom Multis, presets that layer the individual instruments together in inspiring, musical ways, or recall project sounds quicker.

The Free Orchestra 2 is compatible with Native Instruments' free Kontakt Player, making it readily accessible to users. This compatibility ensures that you can easily integrate The Free Orchestra 2 into your existing setup, providing a seamless and convenient experience.
