This is The Freq — a buttery smooth frequency shifter packed with powerful ways to build tension, create risers, and introduce rich dissonance into your sound.

The feedback control routes the shifted signal back into itself, generating endlessly rising or falling phase movement that results in a silky, bubbling phasing effect. The speed of the feedback motion is determined by the amount of frequency shifting applied, or you can switch The Freq into BPM mode to lock the movement perfectly to your DAW's tempo for synchronized rhythmic sweeps and evolving textures.

Bubbling Up.

The Freq's feedback control bubbles upward or downward depending on the direction of the frequency shift. When the rotational slider is engaged, the phase relationship between the left and right channels begins to shift and intermittently invert, reversing the stereo poles to create a one-of-a-kind widening effect with swirling, animated motion.

More Freq'ing.

The Freq comes packed with multiple ways to invert polarity, phase shift, and manipulate frequencies in motion. Not only can The Freq rotate the feedback phase independently across the left and right channels, but the polarity can also be fully inverted, causing the bubbling motion to instantaneously reverse direction for a truly enticing and animated aural experience.
