The Guilt Device is an emotional degradation unit for macOS and Windows (VST3, AU, Standalone). It does not repeat your sound. It remembers it incorrectly.

The engine is built around a single macro Guilt knob: turn it up and reverse delay, granular smear, pitch drift, dark-chamber ambience, decay and collapse all move together, like one emotional state taking over your sound. Six modes (Confession, Buried, Aftermath, Relapse, The Weight, Absolution) change how the device remembers, with A/B states, oversampling up to 4x and a hand-illustrated interface in dark and light themes.

Built for dark ambient, industrial, doom, post-rock, cinematic scoring and anyone who wants clean notes to feel haunted. Factory presets include Ghost Behind Each Note, Tape Grief, Memory Furnace, The Weight of One Note and Aftermath Cathedral.
