This Heavy Earth - Fleshrot Suite is a complete death-metal guitar signal chain. Based on the Fleshrot 200 amp and This Heavy Earth guitar pedals, it turns a full chain of boutique-grade death-metal circuits into a recording-grade plugin for modern heavy guitar production.

Presented at NAMM 2026, the suite is built for tight chugs, silent stops, aggressive drive stages, chainsaw-style EQ, high-gain amp tones, speaker realism, time-based effects and studio utilities - all inside one plugin, without patching a physical pedalboard or fighting excessive noise.

Designed for death metal, doom, sludge, crust, black metal and other extreme styles, Fleshrot Suite combines stompbox processing, amp and cab simulation, nonlinear speaker modeling, Graphic Output EQ, modulation, delay, reverb and practical production tools in a single workflow.

Built for Modern Heavy Guitar Production

At the core of the suite is the FLESHROT amp section, a punishing high-gain preamp design built for aggressive rhythm tones, heavy riffing, articulate leads and modern extreme-metal production. Paired with the cab section and Graphic Output EQ, it lets users move from tight, focused metal tones to doomier, sludgier and more decayed textures.

This Heavy Earth Pedal Models

Fleshrot Suite includes a set of software pedal models based on This Heavy Earth-style boutique circuits. Spectral Gate delivers tight, controlled gating for silent stops and precise riffing. Grim3 is designed to tighten low frequencies and push the front end of the amp. Crypt Boost adds up to 26 dB of high-headroom boost with tilt EQ for shaping the attack and frequency balance before the amp.

The Fuzz provides a raw op-amp fuzz stage with Blend and Mass controls for dialing in attack, thickness and how it stacks with the rest of the signal chain. Crustifiction adds a more extreme distortion voice aimed at crust, black metal, doom and death-metal tones, with deeper tone-shaping control for aggressive sounds.

Amp, Cab and Speaker Processing

The FLESHROT amp section is paired with a cab simulation section featuring two distinct voicings. This gives the suite a broad range of heavy tones, from tight modern metal to darker, slower and more decayed doom-inspired sounds.

SpeakerX is Aurora DSP's real-time speaker modeling engine designed to simulate the nonlinear behavior of guitar speakers. It adds natural coloration, spatial character and a more realistic cabinet response compared to static processing.

The Graphic Output EQ gives users final-stage mix control, making it easier to shape the finished guitar tone inside a full production.

Integrated Time FX and Utilities

Beyond the stomp, amp and cab sections, This Heavy Earth - Fleshrot Suite includes a complete Time FX rack with Sundrift Chorus, Oscura Tremolo, Paracusia Delay and Weeping Angel reverb. These effects cover movement, width, pulse, ambience, slapback, long delays and darker atmospheric textures.

Utility tools include a tuner, recorder, metronome, transpose control, Studio Environment monitoring, preset management, GateMate noise gate technology and full MIDI compatibility, making the suite suitable for both studio production and practice workflows.
