Hey Vibe Testers.

Thanks again for trying the Vibe beta, the sessions and bug flags you've sent in have directly shaped this update. Vibe v1.0.1-beta is now available, and it's got new features.

What's new:

Lock any control. Right-click a knob, slider, or selector and lock it — Vibe won't touch it, and it'll tell you when a sound you asked for would have needed it, then do its best with everything else.

Ask Vibe about any parameter. Right-click any knob/slider/selector → "Ask Vibe about this parameter" for a focused answer about that control in the context of your current sound. Select several and ask things like "what's the difference between these?"

Hover tooltips on every control, so you can learn the synth as you go (toggle them off in Settings if you'd rather not).

How to update: download the new installer from KVR.

It installs right over the old version and keeps all your patches and settings. Takes under a minute.

As always, the fastest way to report anything weird is to just tell Vibe in the chat — "this is a bug, tell the developers" — and it flags your session for me automatically.

Just download the new v1.0.2-beta installer (for mac or windows) and install it. It will automatically update Vibe if you previously installed it.

NEW features (updated 4 July 2026):

• Mac Version is now available!
• New Visualizer with 5 Modes and visual attribution
  • Switch between Waveform, Spectrum, Oscilloscope, Spectrogram, or Stereo.
  • See what parts of the sound was created by you vs the AI. All visualizer types attribute each region of the audio signal to who edited the parameter that effects the sound — filter carving, LFO pulses, delay tails, envelope stages — all visually identifiable with the same green/blue/purple attribution that the parameter controls have.
  • Pop out the visualizer into a floating window for bigger, distraction-free monitoring.
  • The visualizer can be disabled in settings if desired.
• Selectable Prompt Options
  • Steer the prompt path. Vibe normally auto-decides whether your request is a for new sound, a refinement, or just a question. You can now select this specifically from a dropdown next to the chat or just leave it on auto.
  • Pick the sound class up front. Instead of letting Vibe infer pad / bass / lead / keys / drums / fx from your wording, you can now pick it explicitly using the dropdown so vibe doesn't have to guess. Alternatively you can just leave it on auto and use vibe as normal.
