Volca Modular

The Korg Volca Modular is a unique and inspiring semi-modular analog synthesizer that brings the world of West Coast synthesis to the popular Volca format. It features a collection of individual synth modules that can be patched together using pin cables, allowing for a vast range of sonic exploration. The Volca Modular consists of eight modules, including a source section with a triangle VCO and modulator, a functions section with two envelope generators, a Woggle module for random signals, a Split module for distributing signals, a Dual LPG (Low Pass Gate) module, a Space Out module for reverb-like effects, and a sequencer. The 50 patch points allow you to create a wide variety of sounds and signal flows. The 16-step sequencer features a randomize function for generating unexpected patterns, and it also supports micro-tuning for creating unique scales and tunings. The Volca Modular can be powered by six AA batteries or an AC adapter, and it has a built-in speaker for on-the-go sound design.
