The Wave's sound engine is a hybrid marvel. It features two digital wavetable oscillators per voice, offering 32 wavetables with 64 waveforms each, allowing for incredible timbral variety. The unique "Waveterm" functionality allows you to create and edit your own wavetables via an external audio source. This powerful digital front-end is then processed through a pure analog signal path, featuring a classic 24dB resonant low-pass filter for warmth and character. The Wave also includes a flexible arpeggiator and a powerful sequencer for creating intricate melodic and rhythmic patterns. A large LCD display provides clear visual feedback for navigating its deep synthesis engine, while full USB and MIDI connectivity ensures it integrates perfectly into any modern production workflow.
