Wavebreaker by ML Sound Lab is an 8-knob mixing plugin based on industry-standard moves that the most respected audio engineers have trusted for decades. With all these pro moves in one place you get great sound fast without ear fatigue or overthinking.

Features:

• Saturation:
  • From subtle harmonic richness to thick transformer drive and tape-style compression, this knob adds dimension and energy like all the outboard gear you always dreamed of.
• Compression:
  • Three industry-standard compressors in one smart knob. Punch based on the iconic FET 1176 style compressor top tier for vocals and snare drums. Glue based on several bus compressors known for their transparent buttery transient control and use on mix/master and drum busses. Limit based on a non-distorting peak limiter that extends sustain - ideal for bass, toms, and backing vocals.
• Clipping:
  • This industry-grade hard clipper limits peaks with surgical precision and auto-normalizes to -1 dB peak with a LUFS meter. Yes, you can finalize your mix with Wavebreaker like a mastering engineer.
• EQ:
  • SUB - Clean up the rumble or add weight. A musical high-pass filter when turned down or a low shelf when pushed up - perfect for adding punch to kicks, basses or full mixes.
  • LOW - Remove boxiness or add low-mid punch. Clean up low-mids to clear up muddy mixes or boost the thick foundation for snares, vocals and guitars.
  • MID - Cut the cardboard or cut through the mix. Scoop the honky mids for clarity or boost the pleasant nasality to bring vocals and guitars forward.
  • HIGH - Tame harshness or add presence. Cut the trebly highs to soften aggressiveness or boost even higher to add top-end detail.
  • AIR - Smooth your top end or add the sparkle. A smooth low-pass filter when turned down or a high shelf when pushed up - ideal for modern vocal polish or mastering sheen.
