Waveshaper

Waveshaper is a simple waveshaping plug-in with different shaping functions such as hyperbolic tangent (tanh), arc tangent (atan), and more. The amount of distortion is controlled by the gain of the amplification prior to applying the shaping function (pre gain) and a threshold parameter. The output level can be adjusted with a post gain slider. For better audio quality, the plugin uses oversampling. You can use it creatively to destroy signals or to imbue subtle warmth to audio signals. Although there is visual feedback, use your ears.
