The elysia xfilter 500 is a true stereo, four-band equalizer for the 500 series format that brings the soul and precision of a high-end console EQ to your rack. Built on a discrete Class-A topology, the xfilter 500 delivers a transparent yet musical sound, capable of both surgical sonic corrections and broad, gentle tonal shaping. Unlike many stereo EQs, this is not a dual-mono unit; it features a single set of controls that process both the left and right channels with absolute precision, ensuring a perfectly stable and coherent stereo image at all times. The xfilter 500 is incredibly flexible, offering four active bands and a unique switchable high-pass/low-pass filter section. The outer bands are switchable between shelf and peak curves, while the two mid-bands offer a switchable narrow or wide Q factor for added versatility.
