XyloRescue

XyloRescue is a high-resolution spectral resonance suppressor designed to dynamically clean up harsh frequencies, squeaks, whistles, and room resonances.

Key Features :

1. OLA STFT Processing Engine
   Uses a 256-point Hann-windowed FFT with a 64-sample hop (75% overlap) to perform high-resolution spectral analysis.
2. Gaussian Envelope Estimation
   Tracks overall spectral energy using a log-frequency Gaussian kernel (σ = 0.35 octaves) as a baseline to isolate resonance peaks.
3. Dynamic Resonance Suppression
   Attenuates target magnitude bins exceeding the baseline (down to -18 dB) while fully preserving the phase components.
4. Temporal & Spatial Smoothing
   Uses asymmetric per-bin IIR temporal filters, spatial Gaussian smoothing (σ = 0.15 octaves), and a low-frequency fade to avoid artifacts.
