An excellent VST synth for the price, offering exceptional sound generation capabilities. It is now also available for desktop PCs. Further updates bringing numerous improvements, as well as additional presets, are planned.
In my opinion, this is a VST synth that belongs in every home studio. Simply great.
The free GRN Lite version does not show what the full version can do,
A time limited demo with full functionality would have been much better.

Well, the idea's actually quite good, I like the design – it's as if I've eaten some mushrooms, hehehe. As for the reverb and delay themselves, they produce a decent sound, but I just can't quite figure out what makes it so psychedelic.
Modulation plugins tend give the user an X-Y pad, maybe a fancy LFO shape editor, and call it organic. Growth does not do that. It runs an actual reaction-diffusion simulation, the same class of math behind coral, leopard spots, and Turing patterns, and lets that living field generate the modulation. You do not draw the movement. You grow it, then decide how to read it.
The fact that you can see exactly what is shaping your sound, in real time, turns programming modulation into something closer to gardening. Tend the field, place your readers, and let it surprise you.

It is really great! It works with all kinds of effect- and synth-plugins. I never thought such a thing could exist.

Beautiful sound. It freezes a bit at the moment (version 0.1.0), especially when I try to remove an instrument from the track, but other than that, it works well and sounds wonderful.

High quality reverb for mixing purposes. While it doesn't have the amazing character of some spaces - it's not what I call a creative reverb, one that you put it for emotional shaping/resonance - it doesn't have the darkness or the buildups some of those have, which makes it pretty versatile, and very easy to place in a mix.
It's got enough flavor to be noted, but without overdoing it. That makes it pretty versatile, and easy to throw in. Another thing I appreciate is it's got all the important controls, without making it intricate.

Im surprised not to see more reviews for Ohmboyz Infinity.
I am removing 1 star for price (a bit high in general, but a quality plugin none the less) and also Infinity seems to crash in Cubase and Bitwig semi-frequently. I can reproduce the crash in certain presets. Waiting for customer service to get back to me right now. Removing another star because they seem to ignore customer service requests and I need to understand if they are working on the crashing...
Like most people who buy Ohmboyz, Im an old fan of theirs from the early 2000s, and Ive already spent years playing with their older plugins. I discovered the intense psychedelic sound design potential inside Ohmboyz products back then, namely the original Ohmboyz VST, and this type of effect immediately set itself apart from other effects of the same class both visually and audibly, catering to deep, crazy, swirling and flanging sounds Im always bending other effects units into when I can.
Im personally not looking for 'regular' processing (room tones, acoustics, reflections) as much as I am looking to mangle the sound into infinity while tightly controlling it(Ohmboyz), and I have plenty of 'normal' tools for all that other stuff. I use most of the major reverb, delay, and multi-fx processors out there, including multi fx like Brian C's Synestia, NI's Raum, Lunacy's BEAM, and I find Ohmboyz still able to hone in on mind-bending psychedelia with less fiddling and less overall tweaking to get it there than any other plugin Ive used.
Im hoping to hear back from customer service on the crashing soon.
Something a bit different. Would be so much easier to use within a DAW since I've never used/setup standalone plugins outside my DAW so getting it to flow through my MIDI keyboard will take some looking into...the suggested CNTRL buttons did nothing for my keyboard use...but it is what it is. Nice presets though. When I have time to get it to work through my keyboard I'll try to remember to post another review.
