Very Creative Multi Effect that spice up all kinds of sounds, works best on rhythmic sounds or to make statics sounds rhythmic. It can be harsh and noisy or working like a Saturator or Compressor. But mostly it destroy sounds.

Additional Firmware unleashed a bunch of creative Effect-Types u cant get from the basic Version. RingMod, Reverbs, Stutter and Glitchy Effects.

You have a Random Function, yes but its a bit hidden and complicated, the community wanted a better solution. The Devs wrote a script then, now u can very simple add a Random Button yourself in front of the Plugin. Now we have one Click Random Button!!! That just awesome. These Devs are definitly cool.

A clever and smart Tool i recommend to use, it is pretty easy to use and makes a lot of fun.

You just need to route the MIDI OUT from Instacomp* to your Synths (to 5 of them) MIDI IN and there you go.

Hit "GO" for all Channels or for one of them, alternate each or all Sequences or let the "AI" generate a complete new Soundloop. It's so easy.

NOTES:

• Instacomp* don't start with my host (Bitwig), that i hate a lot...its a need (or is it an issue?).
• There is no UNDO/ REDO.
• The GUI looks a bit terrible, you can't change any color yet.
• A bit more Color in the chord section inside the editor would make it easier to see, how long the chords are used.
• The functionality is awesome, you can manipulate a lot (how much the result is chromatic, note population, fill ins...).
• There are a lot of Presets too, its endless fun.
• User Experience inside the Editor is acceptable, scrolling non-fluid, u can use shift/strg mouswheel for navigation.

So guys n gurls, its still Version 1.0.1 and i hope we can get an update in the next time...

This one is a good one. I have a lot of fun with it.

It needs a little time to find wich knob modulates what (like the LFO)...i realy was trying to modify the Theme then, .

but thats maybe a fun for later. Straight forward Design, Clean sound, that Chord Thing holy Cow is awesome.

I realy like the possibillity to modify what happens when u release the key...thats so cool. But i think its a basic Synthesizer thing right? Anyways...

And you have a two-click random Option thats very nice. Random is key.

What I want to see:

• a little bit more clever options in the FX Section (like on Reverb: Predelay, Feedback, Decay or other Reverb Types like Shimmer, Mono Delay, Pitch Delay).
• More Filter Types: Notch and all that stuff.
• The LFO should be complete OFF on "0" he is not off.
• One-click random.
• Mousewheel Edit.
• More Modwheel and Pitchbend Connections to OSC Mix, Filter Wet/Dry...
• One or Two Modulation Sources (connect to everything).
• Visual Feedback that a Preset was changed (mostly marked with * on Preset Name).
• Better Presets Organisation (actuall all is in one Folder that make issues with external User Banks import/ export).

All at One - Another Awesome Free Plugin i highly recommend. And i hope for some further Versions or another better Synth by "Phuturetone"

Because okay...i love Microtonic but it can be more...better:

• no polyrhthm.
• hidden random switches.
• too less per Step editing (volume, pan, pitch).
• to less sound editing on the Oscillators (FM, PWM...).

A bit more...we always want more...

Hi there .

AUM is a Simple, easy to understand, well working Mixer Tool with clever and clear routing possibilities. Its a joy to work with.

After a little learning curve:

.- sometimes not so intuitive to use, because hidden buttons (like add fx) or invisible functions (like add fx without the "+" icon).

.- no undo in this case: I sadly loaded a saved Set and it just hard overwrites my not saved open Set. Seems its lost forever.

What i want to see:

- sizing the channels to have 2 rows.

- undo redo.

- more secure loading and saving.

- easier channel order switching, it can be just a button, to grab/move channels.

- audio and MIDI signal visual feedback, sometime you can have audio in FX (selfresonance or sample-based stuff) but its not visible.

- changing the FX order, to not delete and load again.

- build templates (to have compressor or limiter always in a/the master channel).

- highpass lowpass just build in, to have it instant in the channel (are 3 knobs lowcut-highcut-bipolar-resonance).

Hopefully you can realize some, would be great.

Das ist wirklich unglaublich geil, was Sugar Bytes hier gekocht hat.

Wer den Coder dahinter etwas kennt weiß um sein fable für complexe Synths, die sich in seinen Plugins widerspiegeln. Mit Aparillo, welch seltsamer Name, hat der Code-Künstler einen cineastischen-textural-formant-FM Synth erschaffen, der sich ohne Tutorial zwar experimentell gut bedienen lässt, aber erst nach etwas Übung auch spezifische Sounds erzeugen kann. Der Aha-Effekt bleibt beim probieren nicht aus.

Die Presets überzeugen spontan und durch die Leichtigkeit diese zu verändern, macht es anfänglich schon einen "heidenspaß". Nach dem kurzweiligen studieren der Möglichkeiten kann man kaum noch die Finger davon lassen. Der Orbiter lässt den Sound, in einer 3D anmutenden Matrix zu allen Effekten zuordnen. Die Effekte sind Reverb, Delay, Filter, das bloße aufzählen ist hier keinesfalls abwertend gemeint. Von Sugar Bytes ist man Qualität gewohnt.

Der Arpeggiator ist fantastisch, wer hat schon mal von "chaotisch-kollidierende Rhytmik" gehört?

Ich will nicht zu viel verraten nur...Enjoy that as Demo und lass dich überzeugen.

the skins fixing a lot issues, like the font and some handles, but the MSEG-Envelope handles are still.

Das Rating ist so, weil ich es für mich in dem Umfang nutzen kann, ohne größere Defizite zu haben. Weiterhin, weil auch die Lizenzphilosophie für mich aktuell okay ist. Die Bitwigger leisten sehr gute Arbeit auch mit der Community, die wirklich schnell gewachsen ist. Natürlich hat jeder Newcomer seine kleinen Defizite, doch ich bin sehr optimistisch, dass da noch einiges gutes ansteht.

Ich habe seit Jahren FL benutzt. Die losen Fenster, die grafischen Dinge vor allem, sind leider nicht schön. Dinge, die man auch nicht einfach modifizieren kann. Seit Bitwig als Nebenspieler zu Ableton, hat mich dann doch sehr überzeugt, eine andere Strategie zu versuchen und mich nicht mit dem umherschieben der Fenster zu beschäftigen. Wer schon mal eine DAW unter den Fingern hatte, wird relativ intuitive mit Bitwig arbeiten können. Sicher war es in FL auch nicht so kompliziert. Ich bin fähig mit allen DAW's wenigstens die Basics zu verstehen, da ich fast alle probiert habe. Somit war Bitwig kein Problem. Ich kenne DAW's die sind da anders.

Als nun Bitwig ins Haus kam, konnte ich relativ fehlerfrei meine Plugins implementieren, 32 und 64-bit, meine Samples einfügen und schon loslegen. Super einfach, mit geringem Grundwissen über das Programm. Die feste Struktur und GUI macht es sehr einfach Überblick zu bekommen und zu behalten. Die Chains sind wirklich wahnsinnig hilfreich, wenn man Effekt-Ketten hinter seinen Synthies legt. Das Anreihen von Tools ist einfach und übersichtlich. Und alles in einer Chain-Datei speicherbar. Somit hat man immer das komplette Paket und kann seine favorisierten Sounds jederzeit finden und wieder benutzen. Jedes Plugin wird in eine Bitwig-Eigene Form gebracht, die nur aus Knöpfen besteht, somit muss die GUI des Plugins nicht offen sein. Leider kann diese Knopf-Liste unangenehm lang werden, wo man sich gerne mal eine zweite oder dritte Reihe wünscht. Jedes Plugin startet in einer Sandbox, somit muss man bei Fehlern nicht das Programm neu starten, sondern nur das Plugin. Super .

Warum ich nicht Ableton nahm? Ich habe Ableton probiert, kam damit klar konnte es mir aber nicht leisten. Der Reiz des neuen hatte mich auch fasziniert und außerdem hat Ableton genug Nutzer, weswegen ich mich auch wirtschaftlich gesehen lieber für Bitwig entschied, das war kein Fehler. Die 12 Monatslizenz mag ein wenig unangenehm sein, aber wer es sich leisten kann und die Updatedate-Philosophie bisher okay fand wird gerne ein paar Credits für den next level sh*** hinlegen. Bitwig ist wirklich gut im Rennen und steht den anderen DAWs, bis auf wenige Dingen, in nichts nach. Es gibt da draußen sicher Musiker und Experten die evtl. spezielle Anforderungen haben, die Bitwig noch nicht erfüllen konnte oder erst noch wird, doch für mich reicht das zurzeit völlig aus, um komplexe Beats zu bauen in einem angenehmen Arbeitstempo.

Strum is another very smart and easy to use Plugin with flat simple graphics and special sound modifiers. 2 OSC with some basic Wavforms including Vibrato and simple Envelope Setting for Strings...the Sound is always good and for typical 303 basslines too...a small Tool with much specific possiblilities you will not much find in other Tools, a great work from Ladislav's VSTZone. The Filter Section with Modulation-Algorhythms works good for Strings with spice and arpeggiated Pianos too. For a Free Tools simply awesome.
