Bought during a promotion and therefore with a very good value for money! Good nostalgic sounds from the 90s but usable for current music!.

Gorgeus job from Adam Szabo. On mi ears, it has a bit more brighter & detailed sound compared to the original JP8080, it is nice with the CPU and seems to have a more stable sound than the hardware emulator by TUS (JE8086).
It's not a 100.00% recreation but the added features are a requirement by modern Studio standards.
Huge sounding oscilators, filters, envelopes and effects. The dual layer control and the increased polyphony may benefit those who used the original, key things that kept me away from buying one in the past.
It deserves a check no matter if you're not a trance or EDM fan.

Hi everyone, I'm the developer of NUA-73MP.
Just a quick update for those looking to try the plugin: You can now download NUA-73MP directly via the menu bar on our website: siamdsp.net.
We are also hard at work developing an Online Activation system for the upcoming version to provide a better user experience. Thank you for your interest and all the support for our project.
It's as slick and characterful as I hoped it would be.
Very rich sounds, just like I remember.
I received this plugin for free from the developer, however I will still try my best to be honest about my opinion with this plugin.
This plugin is very fun to use. I am very bad at math, and because of that I feel like I am not really qualified to get the fullest potential out of it, however putting random equations into it led to some very interesting results. It is very simple otherwise, which is never a bad thing, and I very much so enjoy it here. Oh, and the interface is very well made!
Overall I love it, and if you are good at math you can take it very far.

One of the Best recorded Drum Libaries outthere.
VERY Balanced.
Vintage and Modern Sounds.
Focussed, often dry Drums, not overproduced.
Before Serum there was Massive, and before Massive there was the Access Virus TI.
Pros: Very powerful analog-digital hybrid character with access to Wavetable synthesis and powerful granular/formant shifting wavetable warp modes. The wavetables built in are very spectral sounding and create very nice resonances and basses. The Filter is very warm. The oscillators are very crunchy. The init Saw wave has the signature curved shape and minimal Gibbs attenuation (as per emulation of VA synths). Capable of the signature Super/Hyper saw. There is a huge selection of distortion types, and powerful analog-modeled FX including Tape delay/ Dispersing Phaser/ Plate Reverb/Freq Shifter etc.
Unbelievable that this existed decades before the other synths that are used today.
Cons: Work flow is old school - I really can't stand Modulation Matrix routing in 2026. Otherwise a perfect synth.
I never experienced the Virus TI until this emulator came out, but I now understand the power of the Virus TI. There is a reason why this synth was responsible for most of the Trance and complex synthesis in that era before software synths caught up. Those who have never experienced this era of analog-digital hardware synths finally have the ability to emulate these synths, and the Virus TI is my absolute most recommended of that list.
Tried it: sounds great, works fine as long as you don't pay too fast notes. Then it cannot keep up. That was a dealbreaker for me. A shame really, because the for the rest it is well made and good sounding.

In a era where music is affordable to make and produce something is often missing : "life"; Life from errors, life from musician performance, life from unpredictability and movement.
I don't care much a bout analog accuracy but I do care about sound coloration and movements, and tal sampler is amazing to that regard. It might be the only sampler I found that gives life to samples.
It is named "sampler", but think of it as a "sample-based synthesizer", because that's what it is.
Let me give you an idea :
- get a sample multi with 16 samples, called something like "moog_bass_D#2.wav" and set zone like a normal sampler.
- then process/process/process : simple LFO, adsr, filters, sample loop
- then listen : it will likely sound to your ear like a completly new, lively synth : it crunches, it moves, it flows, it sounds dark, it sounds weird, it sounds like you are playing on some crazy hardware machine from a sci-fy movie !
Filters, sampling rate, bit depths, everything is carefully though in this sampler to provide that crunchy feel !
Sounds quickly wins tridimensionnal feel, weird color, both simple and brillant.
Fun to use and very creative
Cons ? not much if you are not mistaking this sampler for what it is not.
It's not made to have kontakt-like realistic presets. it's made to sample stuffs yourself and sound organic.
It doesn't fit every genre. It will fit lofi, old-school electronic music, video games music, chiptune, industrial music.
