All these plugins are very well made and sound really great.
But one of them is my choice for "this one instrument for the desert island"...the D-Piano.
No matter if it is an accurate Rhodes emulation or not, this thing sounds so fu... well.
Use the "Autopan" preset, a little delay, a bit of a reverb and you are ready for eargasm. :-)
And beacause I love it so much, I've used Ressource-Hacker and Photoshop to give it the nice GUI it deserves.

For me this thing is still the best free compressor. Easy to use, sounding great and giving your drums that extra punch. But it also works well on the master bus. I love it.

For a free plugin it is a very professional and versatile tool. Just hear the results! Great Job, Tokyo Dawn Records! Thank you.
A great plugin, like all the CodeFN42 stuff!
Set note order, octave order and swing to random and... pow, you are Roy Ayers. :-).
This slightly detuned instrument is the perfect choice to mimic the scary sound of the intro sequence of "Shining". It is old and ugly but I love it.
What a nice concept. The Interface is simple to use and entertaining to watch.
You can achieve very good sounding, musical results with this one.
For me the best free fx plugin in 2021.

Very nice violin! It sounds natural and expressive. I like that dry sound, not "pimped" with a big reverb, so you can do your own thing from scratch. Great job, Sample Science.

I had the chance to use a Pre-Version of Sinmad in the KVR OSC 146. This synth is fun. It is capable to create very unique sounds, because of the mix of good old subtractive synthesis with physical modelling and the use of a complex polyphonic delay matrix.
It can sound so damned harsh but can also produce soft, whistling, aetheric sounds as well. In my opinion Sinmad is a perfect tool for creating sound FX and complex cinematic soundscapes. The GUI is great, you can choose between a bunch of nice themes and it is resizeable according to your wishes. For a quick start you can choose one of the nearly 300 interesting presets.
Give it a try, you will be surprised. And by the way, at the NUSofting website you can also find two great, very original freeware synths: Sinnah and Noisetar.
