This is really good virtual guitar and especially if you are looking for strat/Tele/Jag sound. The user interface is simple and effective and includes some effects, doubling, drop-d and tone shaping controls. The playability is pretty good and you can realistic guitar phrases and lics with ease.

Modular Icons which is part of the Native Instruments Play Series does sound modular. I Love the sounds and feel of this library. Built-in sequencer is really easy to use and you can apply it to pitch, velocity and the macros.
The play series is mostly about blending two layers and create some very useful sounds with minimalistic user interface. The sound browser is easy to use and the extra options are very useful. For example you can map the layers to different ranges on the key board and so layer A can be triggered by the lower part of the key board while layer B is triggered by the upper part of the keyboard and they can overlap as well.
Here is a video review I made to cover this library.

Falcon is a sound design dream come true.
First, this is a combination of the best of both worlds, a sampler and synthesizer.
You have a choice of 16 different oscillators including different samplers, analog, FM, Wavetable and more. Falcon also includes 90+ effects, modulation sources, MIDI processors with scripting in an expansive semi-modular sound design environment.
What you need to know about Falcon is that you can build complex soundscapes, layers, sequences and more using different keygroups, layers and parts. This might be intimidating at first but when you get the idea a new world of sound will open up for you.
You can also combine different oscillators at the same level or in different levels which is totally flexible and creative. You can map different oscillators to different parts of your MIDI keyboard or other MIDI devices which is cool for live performance or other sound design ideas.

This is one of my favorite Piano VST sampling the Steinway Concert Grand Model D. UVI did a great job with the articulations, sounds and overall feel of the Piano.
The tone shaping options are very useful with envelopes, filter, pitch and mod wheel. In addition the effect rack includes, IR(Convolver), Drive & Equalizer, Stereo Modulator, Delay and the amazing SparkVerb.
The Model D can also be used with Falcon as well as the Workstation.

I'm really impressed with this plugin. The sound and feel is exceptionally organic and exciting.
Putting the plugin on dry synth presets, piano, guitar (or anything else) makes it sound so much better.
The plugin including three units, analog delay, plate reverb and saturation (summing amp). You can switch the order of the delay and reverb modules. This is really useful feature and can be used to get some pulsing reverbs.
Few things to note about the delay are that it emulates a BBD (bucket bridge delay), it has feedback dial and modulation. Some creative sounds can be achieved when pushing the regen (feedback) above 8 and wet signal. You will get a self oscillation which sounds very musical to my ears. (but watch out for too much feedback).
The reverb sounds lush and very smooth. You have three sizes of plate reverb emulating Lexicon plate reverb. make sure to set the input/output gain when setting the reverb dry/wet so the signal is not lost in the verb.
The saturation module is also very musical and can add grit and organic feel to the whole sound with or without the delay and reverb.
You can download the free demo for 20 days of fully functional plugin.

This is one of my favorite synths. Don't let the simple 'old' interface and limited controls to fool you, as there are lot's of sound design options if you know how this synth work. The prophet is really a fun synth to learn and teach synthesis with all the ingredients needed.
The filter sounds great and really give the growl expected from it.
Of course it's not just the Prophet 5 but also Prophet VS and the combination of both. This can produce modern sounding patches with ease and joy.
To me this is really a playground.
I also created a tutorial in my YouTube channel: Prophet V Tutorial
Really love the simplicity and workflow.
I'm not a piano player and having such a tool is helpful.
There are 4 slots that can be switched with the C1-F1 keys on the keyboard which allows you to go between different chord shapes and scales.

Love it.
Always wanted to have that fat and famous sound and now I can. The added modulation and effects are amazing and really easy to use for sound design. The added stereo mode is also a great feature.

Really liked the creative tools and options in all these plugins. Each plugins adds something that usually is not expected.
The SpeakerSim is really cool and can dial in some very nice effects on vocals.
The Vocal Finalizer is really helpful and creative as well.
Overall liked the collection and definitely going to use it in my next projects.

This is really a great reverb with some cool features. It does sounds very clean with some dimension and frequency shaping controls for each stage of the reverb signal.
It also able to throttle down CPU usage.
Like the way they arranged the presets (over 900 presets).
For the price ($9 at PIB) this is a steal.
