The main principle of the synthesis of Waverazor seems to be the switching between multiple editable wavetables in sync with the key frequency of a note. Actually not a difficult thing to do, but it's the idea that makes the difference, right? Waverazor sounds much like any other synth if the sounds are static, but if you begin to mangle them, you get the chills, because you can manipulate a wave cycle in the microsound time scale - but unlike granular methods would allow for. Great and innovative synth with a sci-fi look to it! The reason I only give it 8 out of 10 is that the user interface does not yet let you manipulate every parameter manually.

This tool is awesome! I made a track some years ago of which the sequencer's project file broke just before mastering. the track had a lot too much reverb to it and this plug-in was the first really high quality sounding reverb remover I demoed. The track afterwards sounded absolutely dry! I was honestly amazed. ........................................................................................................................................................................................................

A great little modular synthesizer with a lot of useful features. It allows for all conventional synthesis methods (Subtractive, Additive, FM, AM, Wave Shaping) and specials like Modal and Karplus-Strong Synthesis. Wave-table and Wave-Cycle-Editing is planned, as well as Sampling Synthesis with modulation of playback speed and direction (for scratching, phase distortion and granulation features).

Pros: -extremely easy to use, -great sound

Cons: -too less waveforms included (if you ask me), but with the future sampling feature you should be able to use your own

What I personally would prefer are synthesis methods like:

Pulse Train Synthesis, VOSIM, LPC, Window Function Synthesis, Hard Sync Modulation, Ring Modulation, Bit reduction/Re-sampling/Sample-Hold and Wave Terrain Synthesis (whereas this last feature would be quite hard to implement, I think)

For that price - absolutely convincing synthesizer!
