My goto FM synth.

Close enough to a DX7 and will accept all the 1000s of cart / sysex files out there. Open source, so with Juce and Xcode you play around if you're a C++ sort of guy (or know someone who is!).

Would be 5 stars except for some envelope generator timing inaccuracies that affect a very few DX7 patches.

I love it.

A nice all round subtractive synth.

A light workhorse with lots of sound potential.

An excellent synth for beginners with similarities to Juno.

You wont be dissapointed in TAL stuff.
